Through a series of events that you'll have to watch the movie to reveal, Dantes ends up locked away in an island prison called Chateau d'If where a sadistic warden, played by Top Dollar from The Crow makes sure to give him a good dose of punishment to round out his life sentence. Dantes ends up getting a promotion for his actions during the last voyage, and everyone else gets jealous of his successes Dantes, being the innocent and naive oaf that he is, thinks everything is perfectly fine, even though Guy Pearce is trying to get all up in his girlfriend's booty whenever he's not around. Travel to 1800s France, where Edmond Dantes (played by Jesus) and Fernand Mondego (played by Guy Pearce) have just returned from the Isle of Elba where they were mistaken as agents of exiled French emperor Napoleon Dynamite.
